For a life-long city-dweller like me, there's something very thrilling about driving around aimlessly in the seemingly boundless open-space of the Prairies. There was nothing—just flatness—as far as the eyes could see in all directions. The fluffy clouds looked like they were painted on the sky.

I've also included a church I visited on the Prairies. It's not a particularly important work nor is it that exceptional, but it's by a Canadian architect so I've decided to give my fellow compatriot some love and showcase it here. (Okay, I realize I just made it sound pretty bad, but it's not meant that way. It's just that it doesn't really compare with most of the other works I have on this site.)
