Shot of Nan Jing Road. Not quite Tokyo, of course, but not even really Taipei, either. It's impossible to capture the ubiquitous "China smell" in photographs. Something about Chinese construction that all the new buildings have this very particular smell... This particularly "cheap" smell, for a lack of a better word. The only place I didn't run across this smell was in the Jin Mao Building.
